Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or PDF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

As part of the submission procedure, authors must tick off whether their submission corresponds with each of the following guidelines.

1. Title Page

  • Title of the Paper: Clear and concise, representing the research.
  • Author(s): Full names, affiliations, and contact details.
  • Corresponding Author: Email address for the corresponding author.
  • Abstract: A summary of the research (150-250 words).
  • Keywords: 4-6 keywords that reflect the content of the paper

2. Main Sections:

  1. Introduction:
    o Provide background and context.
    o State the research problem or objective.
    o Summarize relevant literature.
    o Outline the significance of the study.
  2. Literature Review (if needed):
    o Discuss past research related to the topic.
    o Identify gaps in existing research.
  3. Methodology:
    o Describe the research design and methods used.
    o Detail data collection and analysis procedures.
    o Mention tools or software used.
  4. Results:
    o Present the findings of the study.
    o Use tables, charts, and graphs to display data.
  5. Discussion:
    o Interpret the results.
    o Compare with previous studies.
    o Discuss implications and limitations.
  6. Conclusion:
    o Summarize key findings.
    o Suggest future research directions.
  7. Acknowledgments (if applicable):
    o Acknowledge any contributors or funding sources.
  8. References:
    o Follow the appropriate referencing style (APA, MLA, IEEE, etc.).
    o List all sources cited in the paper.

3. Formatting Guidelines (HEC Standard):

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced.
  • Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Page Numbering: Bottom-right corner.
  • Figures and Tables: Must be clearly labeled and cited within the text.
  • Length: Typically 10-20 pages, depending on journal requirements.
